Shipping and Delivery
When you purchase goods from our Site, the goods will be delivered through one of the following methods:
Delivery will take place as soon as reasonably possible, depending on the delivery method selected. Delivery times may vary due to unforseen circumstances. Please note that delivery times do not include weekends and statutory holidays. You will be required to pay delivery charges in addition to the price for the goods you purchase. If you purchase goods from us for delivery to a destination outside Canada your purchase may be subject to import duties and taxes applied by the destination country. You are responsible for paying any such duties or taxes. Please contact your local customs office for more information before making a purchase. We are not responsible for the payment of any such duties or taxes and are not liable for any failure by you to pay them. You are required to provide us with a complete and accurate delivery address, including the name of the recipient. We are not liable for the delivery of your goods to the wrong address or wrong person as a result of you providing us with inaccurate or incomplete information.
Refunds

Returns

We always want you to be happy with your purchase. We only accept returns on incorrect items.
It is unfortunate that some items have arrived damaged, but we cannot control how the postal service handles the packages once they leave our care. We securely package all items. As these are bath bombs, meant to be dissolved in water, they will work just fine even if they are broken upon arrival.
If we shipped the wrong item to you by mistake, please email us and we will ship the correct item at no additional cost, but we must be notified within 5 business days after you received your order.
All errors arising from miscommunication on verbal orders will be the sole responsibility of the customer and they will be accountable for return shipping. Please submit orders in writing and online whenever possible.
How to return items
As per our shipping policy, we are not responsible for missing/lost/damaged/delayed shipments.
Returned items need to be 75% intact and returned with the original packaging and receipt. If the items are less than 75% intact, you will be charged a 50% loss of product cost. If I need to apply this charge, I will take pictures and advise you by e-mail.
You can return the incorrect items up to 20 days after the date you received your order, or 20 days after you made the purchase in person (Craft Fair, Craft Show, etc.) Please contact us at customercare@soothingbathexperiences.ca to set up a meeting time for the exchange
PLEASE NOTE: Any mistake made by the customer in shipping address for example wrong address or missing unit/apartment or wrong postal code will be the full responsibility of the purchaser.
Shipping charges are not refundable.
Please remember we can’t accept returns without prior authorization through Customer Care.
If ever a refund is due, it will be returned by the same manner by which it was received, with the exception of amounts under 5.00$ and E-Transfer. For amounts under 5.00$ and for payments received by E-Transfer, a store credit will be issued.
Buy online, pick up option orders can be returned to the pick-up location, you need to email us at customercare@soothingbathexperiences.ca and we will set up a time for you to come to our facility and make the return
Remember, we cannot accept returns without prior authorization.
We can provide the return label at the customers expense unless otherwise specified (ex. The return label cost will be subtracted from the refund amount.)
SBE offers refunds, exchanges & returns on eligible orders (incorrect items). If you would like to request one of these please email us with details and pictures of the issue and/or reason behind the request.
All returns are subject to a fee for the loss of packaging materials.
Refunds can be refused if we suspect there are fraudulent requests (ex. A high number of previous returns/refunds, recurring issues that haven’t been proven).
In the case where a refund is denied the customer will be given sufficient details as to the reason of the denial.
We currently have no minimum on our orders.
The prices displayed on this site are quoted in CAD Canadian dollars.
If you are located in Canada, there will be taxes added, based on your Canadian jurisdiction, to your total at the time of your checkout. Taxes are calculated at the rate of the province you are located at, for more details view our Canadian Taxes Chart.
Recipients of deliveries made outside of Canada may have to pay import duty or formal customs entry. If this is the case, the delivery may be delayed. Any such charges are the responsibility of the recipient and Soothing Bath Experiences cannot offer any assistance in these processes.
Once an order has been placed, it will be put on a 12-hour holding period, you have 12 hours where you can cancel, add or remove items from the order. After the 12-hour period, there will be a 25% fee for items removed or cancelled orders.
Once this holding period has expired, should you wish to have any item(s) removed, there will be a 25% (of the cost of the item(s)) fee for items removed or cancelled orders.
If you wish to add an item to ship with an order already in processing, you must place a new order. You need to select the SAME SHIPPING METHOD as the original order and we require that you specify the original order invoice number that you wish the new order to be shipped with in the comments section at checkout. We will make every effort to ship the items together. When they ship together, we will credit any shipping overpaid to your account.
All orders must be checked within 5 business days of receipt so that any discrepancies may be addressed.
Soothing Bath Experiences currently offer shipping via Canada Post. All of our products ship from our facility in Hammond, Ontario, Canada.
We do not offer refunds on orders delayed by customs and shipping.
We do not refund lost or stolen items that are tracked and show as delivered

We make every effort possible to ship as quickly as possible and get your items to you in the timeliest manner within my control.
At this time, we only ship our products within Canada and the United States. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Our default shipping agent is Canada Post
In all cases we pass our heavily discounted rates to you, our customer. We do not operate our shipping department as a profit center. Please note that your shipping cost is calculated on-line using a Canada Post Shipping module, using the annual negotiated discounted rates. Our Canada Post online quotes are estimates based on weight and volume calculations. We reserve the right to change the shipping charges. If this occurs you will be contacted for approval before your order is processed.
We currently ship ground courier to all provinces in Canada. Essential oils are classified as hazardous Goods when shipped by air. Because of this only ground shipments are available for essential oils.
Soothing Bath Experiences takes no responsibility for any loss, damages or delay that may occur during shipping. Similarly, we must be notified should additional insurance be required. Without notification we ship products without insurance.
We currently do not require orders to be signed when delivered. However, should customers want the signature required option a fee of 2.50$ will be charged by Canada Post
Alternative shipping methods are available on request; However, we take no responsibility for shipping that is arranged by our customers. This includes the following:
Should a customer decide to handle their own shipping arrangements, we require that a WAIVER be signed. This ensures that we aren’t held accountable for any shipping issue outside of our control; similarly, in the event that we receive a shipping related invoice under these conditions, it will authorize us to process the customer’s credit card.
Please note that in all instances where payment is required, a copy of the invoice will be forwarded with receipt for payment.
Note: Once you have placed an online order for shipping and you decide to pick up your order, 10$ for shipping will not be refunded back, only store credit for 10$ will be issued
By default, parcels are insured for 100$. When choosing Canada Post, you can request a card be left in your mailbox notifying you that your parcel has arrived if you won’t be home. It will request that you pick up your item(s) at your closest outlet. You will require ID at pick up and we recommend this option for your protection since we are not responsible for lost, damaged or missing boxes. If you would like ‘signature upon delivery’ we can do that too, please request it in the comments section at checkout. Additional fees for this option may be required. ** It is important to note that in general, couriers will not insure parcels that have been requested by the recipient to be left should the recipient not be home. We do not recommend this option as it is unsafe and is done completely at your own risk. Your order is otherwise insured for 100$ against loss or damage. Should you wish to add extra coverage, please let us know in the comments section when you submit your order, and we will make those adjustments and contact you regarding any amount due. When orders are larger, we may contact you to offer the extra insurance option. We reserve the right to add ‘signature required’ at our discretion.

Once your parcel leaves our facility, you will be e-mailed your tracking number. This tracking number lets you know where your parcel is and when it should arrive to you. Should there be any issues/questions with delivery, you must contact your chosen courier to resolve these issues. Please note that it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the proper address is provided at the time of the order. A 25% cancellation fee will be charged to you if an order is cancelled after the 12-hour holding period OR if an order is refused at the point of delivery and returned to us. Should an order be returned to us due to an incorrect address or for any other reason, you will be responsible for all related shipping charges.
In the event that shipping costs were miscalculated (it’s rare, but this can sometimes happen with larger boxes) we reserve the right to adjust the shipping to reflect the true cost. In this case, we will contact you with the correct shipping charges to collect the remainder amount due. SBE charges only the actual amount of postage based on Canada Post rates.
Customs and Import taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. SBE is not responsible for delays due to customs
Shipping problems
Canadians: if your package does not arrive, please check the tracking number that was provided to you in your shipping notification email. If you did not receive this email, please send us a message and we will let you know what is going on/give you your tracking number.
SBE cannot be held responsible for missing packages that were sent in the mail and say they were delivered.
For citizens of the USA: Parcels do not include tracking unless the order is over 100$ USD. There are no options to add tracking for an additional charge at checkout.
Shipping Hours
Most orders ship within 1-3 business days after the 12-hour holding period. We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or Canadian Holidays.
Delays Due to Outside Circumstances
While we will do all we can to ensure your order is delivered on time, SBE cannot be held responsible for conditions beyond our control such as severe weather, customs and border issues, service interruptions, delays due to Covid, etc.
Wrong Address
If you notice in your shipping confirmation e-mail that you entered an incorrect shipping address, unfortunately, it’s too late for us to make a change.
Incorrect Product(s)
Incorrect product(s) must be reported to us within 5 days of receipt. Please email us at customercare@soothingbathexperiences.ca; include order number, a detailed description of the problem and picture(s) of the names of the incorrect item(s) received. The product will be replaced with an identical product (subject to availability) free of charge or refunded, whichever is preferred.

Shipping Exceptions and Restrictions
Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories (excluding Guam, US Virgin Islands & Puerto Rico)
We unfortunately do not ship to any US territories. We only ship within the continental United States, including Hawaii and Alaska. We cannot ship to Puerto Rico, Guam or US Virgin Islands
Packages to Alaska and Hawaii can only be shipped by air or priority.
International Addresses
Unfortunately, we cannot ship internationally at this time,
Multiple Shipping Addresses
We’re unable to ship a single order to multiple addresses. You’ll need to create a new order if you’d like to ship to more than one address.
Order Tracking
When your order is shipped from our facility, we will send you an e-mail to confirm your shipment – this email will include a tracking number and link to enable you to track your package.
Each bath bomb comes packaged in tissue paper to reduce plastic waste. Unfortunately, sometimes bath bombs don’t fare well in shipping. Please know that we do everything we can to package as gently as we can. Sometimes, that just isn’t enough. That being said, seeing they are packaged one per box, even if they are broken, they will work fine when put in the bath, just put all the pieces in.
We do occasionally reuse boxes and newspaper from my community to help reduce the impact on our planet.
We accept cancellations up to 12 hours after you place your order.
You have a 12-hour period where your order is on hold, so if you contact at orders@soothingbathexperiences.ca within this window, we can easily cancel, add or remove items in your order. If you wish to change your order after the 12-hour holding period, while we cannot guarantee any changes to be made to the order once passed the holding period, we will try our best to accommodate. If we were not able to change or cancel your order, we will contact you by email to let you know.
If you wish to add an item to ship with an order already in processing, you must place a new order. Because our orders are processed so quickly, orders cancelled after the 12-hour holding period which are filled and packed ready to ship will be charged a cancellation fee of 25%. The actual amount of time will vary depending on the season, but in most cases the order will have undergone processing as soon as the order is out of the 12-hour holding period, fulfilment may take up to 1-3 business days.
SBE does not add on or charge shipping or handling fees. There will be a small fee for packaging materials.

Please note, the International Federation of Aromatherapist do not recommend that essential oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. In addition, essential oils must be properly diluted before use in order to avoid any damages to property or adverse physical effects (including injury or bodily harm).
